Differences between Turkish and Basque students

Hi friends!

I have been analising the differences between Turkish students and Basque students and between both cultures. For this to be easier we made a questioner and we completed it in order to see the results. At first, I thought it wouldn't be so different, but the results surprised me, I didn't expect it would be so many differences between us. So here you have a small description of the results that I have obtained.

Talking about gender, in the Basque results, the majority of the people who has complete the quiestioner are girls, although not by far, just 5% more than boys. On the contrary, in Turkey, the majority who have answer the questioner are boys.

Concerning religion, we perfectly see in the Basque results that almost everyone isn't religious. Just one person is it, and she or he believes in God. However, almost every Turkish student is religious, and their religion is Islam, there are only two people who are not. And in both countries, there is some few people who are not religious, but they agree with some believes. So, taking into account the previous results, none of the Basque students go to worship places and she/he goes only sometimes. In contrast, most of Turkish students go to those places sometimes, some of them every week, others every month and few of them never.

As far as music is concerned, for the most of the Basque students, their favourite type of music is reggae. In contrast, for most of the Turkish students the best type of music is Hip-hop. Besides, in both of the countries, in second position there is pop music.

As regard school, even though  for the Turkish the best subject is mathematics, for the Basques is the worst. Very surprising. Besides, for the most of the Basque students, the best subject is P.E. followed by mathematics. Meanwhile, Turkish favourite subject by far is Maths, followed by english and history. On the other hand, for the Basque students, as we had said previously is Maths, followed by spanish literature. However, the subject which Turkish like least is Geography, followed by Science. Besides, both schools have more than 7 subjects and more than 7 classes per day.

As far as extracurricular activities are concerned, everybody except one person so extracurricular activities. Most of the Basque students do sport, play an instrument and go to particular classes as a extracurricular. However, very few people fron Turkey do those three things. The majority only plays an instrument or do a sport. Furthermore, we perfectly see that just two people do estracurricular activities because they are oblied by their parents, the others do them because they want to.

Regarding food, the most famous food from Tolosa are the "Black beans" followed by the omelette (but this one is not from Tolosa) and we can see that almost everybody like it a lot. On the other hand, ther most famous food from Turjey is "Kebab" followed by Manti and the mayority of the Turkish students love the previous food. It is very surprising that although more than half of the Basque students like all the type of food, this is, meat, vegetables, legumes, dairy food... None of the Turkish students like legumes. I didn't expect that and I don't know which is the reason. With a 21% the most liked food from the point of view of the Basque students is the Spanish omlette followed by pasta, lasagne and salad, all with 10,5%. Otherwise, with an 18% the most liked food for the Turkish teenagers are peas, followed by Baklava, sushi, lasagne, lamb and chicken with 9%.
